On Coment, a team leader is a user who can invite members into a team and initiate workflows of review and validation. Other project members may also upload documents, comment, review and validate the documents. We decided to make this role the keystone of teams on Coment because we realized that identifying this role is key to a good teamwork.
The number of users per project is unlimited. Users with a different role than team leader are free.
Google Suite is more for document creation (inside the document) and sharing whereas Coment is for document collaboration (inside and outside the document), when the document is almost finished and you share it with the team to get feedback/a review/approval.
What we bring on top of Google Drive:
comment status (validate / reject)
document status and review/validation workflows
for PDFs, comments remain on the document with version change
no need for gmail account to login and participate
